Deck Refinish

The deck was in pretty bad shape, with deep cracks, warped boards, and some rotted boards.

The rotted boards had to be replaced, the cracks filled, and the entire deck sanded

Because the underside of one board was in pretty good shape, it could be flipped.

Some stairs had cracks and one step needed to be replaced.

Two coats of a special deck coating (Encore - purchased over the internet) were applied with a roller.

It was a lot of work, but the result was better than expected.  We hope it will last for a few years.

The railings were painted with a solid stain of the same color.
